Android and iOS (together, the “Services”).

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this
policy.

2.1 Information you give us

2.3 Camera and barcode scanning

The app has an optional in-store scanner that reads a product’s barcode to show
you its price. It uses your device camera, and only in this way:

The camera is active only while the scanner screen is open, and only to
detect a barcode.
Barcodes are recognised on your device. Camera images and video are
never stored, never sent to us, and never shared with anyone — nothing
from the camera leaves your phone.
Once a barcode is read, only the barcode number is sent to our store to
look up that product and its price. A barcode number identifies a product,
not you, and we do not link it to your identity.
Using the camera is your choice. You can decline the permission, turn it off
later in your device settings, or type a barcode in by hand instead — the
rest of the app works without it.

On-device recognition uses your platform’s built-in scanning (Google ML Kit on
Android, the Apple Vision framework on iOS). It runs locally and does not send
camera images to Google, Apple, or us.

2.4 What we do not collect

We do not collect or process payment card details. All orders are paid
cash on delivery. No card, bank, or wallet information ever enters our
Services.
We do not collect your precise location.
Apart from the barcode scanner in §2.3, we do not use your camera, and we
never take or keep photographs. We do not access your contacts, photos,
microphone, or files.
We do not use advertising identifiers or run ad tracking in the app.

3. Why we use your information

We use personal data only for these purposes:

To fulfil your orders — processing, preparing, and delivering purchases,
and contacting you about them.
To operate your account — authenticating your login, showing your order
history, and storing saved addresses.
To provide customer support — answering questions and resolving problems.
To keep the Services secure — detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and
technical attacks.
To meet legal and accounting obligations — retaining sales records where
the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on:

Performance of a contract — to take, fulfil, and deliver your order and to
operate your account.
Legitimate interests — to secure our Services, prevent fraud, and improve
how the Services work.
Legal obligation — to keep tax and commercial records.
Consent — for optional marketing messages, where we ask for them. You can
withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal data only where it is necessary:

Delivery personnel — your name, address, and phone number, so your order
can be delivered.
Our hosting provider — our website and app data are hosted on

Legal authorities — where we are required by applicable law to disclose
information.

Website analytics. Our website uses Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit)
to understand how visitors use the site. This places cookies and shares usage
data with Google. See Google’s privacy policy at
https://policies.google.com/privacy. The mobile app does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service.

Abandoned cart reminders. If you enter your email at checkout on the
website but do not complete the order, we may send you a reminder email. You
can unsubscribe from any such email using the link it contains.

Aside from the above, your personal data stays on our own systems. The app does
not route your data through any third-party commerce platform or middleman
service.

6. How long we keep it

Account data — for as long as your account is open. You can delete your
account yourself at any time, in the app: Account → Delete account. It is
removed immediately, not queued for review. You may also ask us to delete it
and we will do so within [30] days.
Order records — retained for [7] years, or as long as Lebanese tax and
commercial law requires, whichever is longer.
Server logs — approximately [30] days.
Cart session data — until the session expires or you complete the order.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct anything inaccurate. You can edit your name, phone, and addresses
directly in the app under your profile.
Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to records we
must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Deleting your account in the app
removes your sign-in and your order history from the app. Orders we have already delivered are kept as a record of what was sold and paid for, as
described in §6 — they no longer link to an account, but the delivery name,
phone number and address stay on the receipt.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Receive a copy of the data you gave us, in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email [[email protected]]. We will respond
within [30] days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do
not disclose your data to someone else.

8. Security

We protect your data with:

HTTPS encryption on every connection between the app, the website, and our
servers.
Hashed passwords — stored using a one-way cryptographic hash, never in
readable form.
Token-based authentication — the app signs you in with a time-limited
token rather than storing your password on your device.
Access controls limiting who within Miniprix can view customer data.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will
notify you and any relevant authority as required by law.

9. Children

The Services are not directed at children under [16], and we do not knowingly
collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with
personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Our servers are located in [Lebanon]. If you access the
Services from another country, your data will be transferred to and processed
there. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such
transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated”
date above, and for significant changes we will give notice in the app or by
email. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the
updated policy.
